How the league evolves

Every club plays each other once: 190 matches per season. A win earns 3 points, a draw earns 1. Clubs are sorted by points, then wins, then strength. Higher strength improves the chance of winning.

Always Attack: attacks every opponent, reducing draws. Always Defend: defends every match, increasing draws. Twice: defends if the opponent is at least twice as strong; otherwise attacks. Stronger: attacks only when stronger than its opponent.

The bottom three clubs are relegated after each season. Three new clubs with realistic fictional names from a reserved club-name pool join with random strength (30–90), inheriting the strategies of the first, second and third place finishers. Existing clubs keep their strength and strategy. The completed table stays visible, and incoming clubs compete in the following season.
